Today we’ve got a second set of images of the upcoming “C9” Audi A7 sedan. For now, Audi engineers have moved on to hot weather testing – the conditions in which we find the car.
As expected, the sedan looks very similar to Avant versions that have already been seen, all but the typical Avant versus sedan C-pillar and rear trunk. Unlike the A4 sedan that will shift to Sportback body style when it moves to B10 architecture and is redubbed A5, it appears the A7 will stick with the sedan configuration… perhaps even foregoing the coupe-like bodystyle pioneered by the original A7.
With this test mule we can also see that the sedan will get a very similar rear light configuration as the Avant, including a vertical “fang” like shaping at the rear corners.
Expect the A7 sedan and Avant to debut in 2025.
